Management Accounts
Use the Management Accounts AI Assistant
Ask questions about the selected company, managed business, and accounting period. The AI Assistant can explain balances, investigate movements, and help you review what needs attention.
Each question is sent to the configured AI model with authorized workspace context. It can also answer general questions from model knowledge.

What to ask
- 1
Ask questions naturally; you do not need to use predefined keywords or shortcut wording.
- 2
Ask for revenue, revenue drivers, expenses, gross profit, net profit, cash and bank, receivables, payables, VAT, or journal activity for the selected period.
- 3
Ask what changed from the previous period when prior-period GL data exists.
- 4
Ask which source file created posted entries or which accounts moved the most.
- 5
Ask what should happen next for the selected period.

Ask the assistant to explain diagnostics and open issues.

- 10
Ask about COA readiness or missing review steps before approval.
How answers and failures are handled
- 1
Review the answer and supporting evidence.
- The model receives your question, recent conversation, and authorized workspace context.
- Investigations should reconcile available detail and identify explained, unexplained, or missing information.
- 2
Workspace context includes accounting and review information.
This can include the Chart of Accounts, general ledger entries, journals, sources and their links to entries, processing runs, diagnostics, issues, backups, reports, and prior-period comparisons.
- 3
If the model is unavailable or returns an invalid response, the chat shows an explicit unavailable message.
It does not replace the failed response with a keyword-based template or canned workspace answer.
Manage saved conversations
- 1
Choose New chat to start another conversation.
The current conversation remains saved.
- 2
Open a title under Your chats to continue.
Saved conversations remain available after refresh, sign-out, or from another device.
- 3
Check the selected company and period.
Chats are private to the signed-in user and kept separately for each company, managed business or group view, and period.
- 4
Delete a chat only when it is no longer needed.
WiseWage asks for confirmation before permanently removing that selected conversation.
Download assistant-created review artifacts
For supported requests, the assistant can attach a review workbook to its answer. If the request is unclear, it may ask a question before creating the file.
- 1
Ask for a customer, debtor, receivables, Excel, XLSX, or workbook breakdown from the Management Accounts AI Assistant.
- 2
Check the workbook scope.
- The Accounts Receivable breakdown uses the selected company, managed business, and YTD period.
- It reconciles to posted AR general ledger lines and uses customer or counterparty fields from source rows where available.
- 3
Review the assistant answer and use the attachment button shown in the chat response.
- 4
Open the Customer Summary sheet for customer balances and the AR GL Detail sheet for source-line support.
- 5
If rows show an unspecified customer, review the source register and narration because the uploaded source row did not expose a customer field.
What the assistant will not do
The assistant does not silently post registers, approve periods, roll back approval, remove uploads, delete records, upload files, or generate the main backup/report packs. Those actions remain in the workspace and require the normal confirmation modal.
It may generate supported review artifacts, such as an Accounts Receivable customer breakdown workbook, when requested from the chat.
- 1
Use Processing Runs to post registers or approve periods.
- 2
Use Backups & Reports to generate and download output files.
- 3
Use Source Intake to upload or download source files.
- 4
Use rollback only when a reviewed period needs correction.
